Experience the industrial history of Copenhagen

The venue is a big part of Design Matters - and should show exciting architecture, have lots of daylight and water nearby.

Once again Design Matters will be held in beautiful buildings right by the canals in Copenhagen. At Docken, you can experience an old salt warehouse and enjoy the industrial surroundings. This venue will be a raw and urban contrast to the new and modern digital trends.

We needed at new venue, since the program this year is filled with more interesting sessions than ever before, and because we have room for more than 500 people this year. 

You'll be able to enjoy the views over the water, get sun and natural light all day - and not the least enjoy a drink in the afternoon in an atmospheric place or by the pool. Copenhagen is a city with a solid design traditions and history, therefore our venue always represents exactly this.
